Recently, I had the absolute honour of travelling to Canberra to capture a truly special maternity session for my best friend, Shell. Photographing this season of motherhood is always emotional, but when it’s someone so close to your heart, it hits differently. Shell and I have been through so many seasons of life together, and seeing her step into this beautiful new chapter with such calm, glowing grace was nothing short of magical. Every image we created feels like a love letter to her journey, filled with softness, strength, and the quiet anticipation of meeting her little one. It was such a privilege to preserve these memories for her, and a gentle reminder of just how powerful and personal this work truly is.
